Nashville, TN, 29th August 2025, ZEX PR WIRE, The Church of Scientology & Celebrity Centre of Nashville and members of the Nashville community recently convened for a special community screening of the "Alexandra Park Grand-Opening" screening—commemorating the newly unveiled L. Ron Hubbard Landmark Site in Harare, Zimbabwe. This heartfelt gathering showcased the enduring connections between global heritage and local commitment.
Honoring a Landmark Legacy
The “Alexandra Park” Landmark Site—a restored manor at 31 John Plagis Avenue in Harare’s Alexandra Park—was officially reopened on June 28, 2025, as a tribute to L. Ron Hubbard’s groundbreaking work in Scientology for South Africa. The restored site preserves the room where the legendary Clearing Course lectures were filmed, Hubbard’s only filmed interview, “An Introduction to Scientology,” as well as artifacts like his typewriter, office furnishings, and even his 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. The reopening marks the site’s return to its exact 1966 condition—a cornerstone of Scientology’s global architectural and spiritual legacy.
Nashville’s Enthusiastic Response
Attendees in Nashville—comprising members of the local Church, friends, supporters, and interested community members—were invited to view the “Alexandra Park” grand opening in a shared celebration of faith, history, and restoration. The event fostered:
Community solidarity: Neighbors and Scientologists gathered in unity to honor a worldwide movement.
Global connection: Witnessing the Zimbabwe grand-opening reinforced Nashville’s spiritual link to global Scientology milestones.
Inspiration: The preservation of this landmark encouraged reflection on Nashville’s own historic sanctuary, the Fall School turned Celebrity Centre.
Dialogue and fellowship: Followed by refreshments and conversation, the screening became a platform for sharing insights and aspirations.
A Message from Nashville Leadership
“We are inspired by the resilience and heritage that 'Alexandra Park' represents,” said Julie Brinker, Director of Community Relations for the Church. “Watching this restoration reminds us that we, too, are part of a living legacy—one that unites Nashville with the global Church, grounded in the timeless teachings of L. Ron Hubbard.”
