NFL Player to Host Free Youth Football Camp Promoting Drug-Free Living at East High School
Nashville, TN, Jun 12, 2026, ZEX PR WIRE — This Saturday morning, youth ages 8 to 13 will have the opportunity to learn football skills from a professional NFL player while also receiving an important message about making healthy, drug-free choices.
Hosted at East High School in Nashville, the free football camp will combine athletic training, teamwork and character-building activities with drug prevention education provided by Drug-Free Tennessee.

As part of the event, every participant will receive free educational materials from the Truth About Drugs program, including booklets that provide factual information about the effects of commonly abused substances. The materials are designed to help young people make informed decisions and resist peer pressure related to drug use. The Truth About Drugs educational series includes fourteen illustrated booklets covering topics such as marijuana, fentanyl, prescription drug abuse, and other commonly abused substances. The resources are written specifically for young people and are distributed worldwide as part of a drug education initiative.
Participants will also be invited to take a pledge to live drug-free, reinforcing the importance of making positive choices both on and off the field.
"Sports provide an incredible opportunity to teach young people about discipline, teamwork and personal responsibility," said lifelong Drug-Free Ambassador Julie Brinker. "By combining athletics with factual drug education, we can help empower youth to make choices that support their goals, health and future success."
Drug-Free Tennessee is a chapter of the Foundation for a Drug-Free World and works throughout Tennessee to provide free drug education materials, presentations and community outreach programs.
